The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is a top leader within a company, who's primary duty is to protect the organization's data and systems from cyber-attacks. The CISO must possess a comprehensive knowledge of the organization's information security architecture, policies and procedures as well as the vulnerabilities and capabilities of the company's information technology (IT). A CISO is responsible for overseeing and directing the company's information security operations. This includes recovery and response to incidents.
